2. GLOBAL MARKETING: Through our robust program of industry events, media relations, advertising and other signature initiatives, TxEDC markets Texas globally as a premier business destination.
3. TRADE VISITS: TxEDC spearheads world-class national and international trade visits to market Texas in key markets throughout the U.S. and across the globe. Our program of trade visits and events in 2017 includes establishing a robust presence at key U.S.-based trade shows in Tucson, Houston, Washington, D.C. and San Diego, as well as abroad in Shanghai and Paris.
4. SPECIAL PROJECTS: As an established leader in innovation, Texas is working hard to attract and meet the needs of businesses across industries by embracing innovative solutions. Digital technology continues to transform the market and jobs of the future require self-sustaining eco-systems. To ensure that Texas stays competitive, TxEDC provides strategic assistance to Governor Abbott to elevate the state in three key areas:
