Governor Abbott Hosted Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, Representative of His Majesty the King, and Belgian Economic Delegation.
Governor Greg Abbott today attended and delivered remarks at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new W.W. Grainger sales facility in San Antonio, Texas. This project, announced earlier this year, is expected to create approximately 200 new jobs, and also generate 310 indirect jobs at existing local and small businesses in the San Antonio area. The new facility represents a $3.9 million capital investment.
AUSTIN - Over the weekend, Governor Abbott discussed what makes Texas the best place to start and grow a business in a series of op-eds that ran throughout the state on Small Business Saturday. In the op-eds, Governor Abbott highlighted several small businesses that have taken advantage of Texas' favorable regulatory environment, access to capital and world-class workforce to grow their enterprises.
