Baylor Scott & White began offering a new model of primary care in September 2019 with transparent pricing and easy-to-use technology that allows North Texas employers and employees to tailor their healthcare needs. The model, called direct primary care, offers predictable and transparent costs, a greater chance of reduced hospitalizations and emergency department visits, improved patient-doctor relationships, better health outcomes and greater patient satisfaction. Employers can control healthcare costs, offer a valuable benefit to employees, and potentially have a more productive workforce.
