Governor's Small Business Forum - Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls Country Club
1701 Hamilton Boulevard
Suite 218
Wichita Falls, TX 76308
United States

The Forum is designed to give entrepreneurs and small business professionals, valuable tools, skills, and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced economy.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Joe Theismann, a successful entrepreneur, former NFL MVP quarterback and Super Bowl Champion for the Washington Redskins. After his remarkable playing career, Theismann spent the last two decades working for ESPN and the NFL Network. He will speak on his experience in finding success both in football and business.

Along with Theismann, communications expert Bill Graham will teach real life applications on how to better communicate as leaders and managers, both with customers and employees. Graham helps individuals and groups take their complicated stories, streamline them, and then powerfully deliver them for maximum results.

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear a panel discussion regarding the current issues facing our local workforce, specifically focused on career and technical education. Panel guests include Mona Statser, Executive Director of Workforce Solutions North Texas, Michael Kuhrt, Superintendent for Wichita Falls ISD and Dr. Gary Don Harkey, Dean of Instruction at Vernon College.

In conjunction with the Forum's focus on Small Businesses, The Small Business Development Center at MSU will present the annual awards to this year's Small Business Winners.

Sponsorships are available. Tickets must be purchased in advance of the event.
