(OKI) and OKI Data Corporation executives, including OKI President and Representative Director Shinya Kamagami, to discuss expanding the relationship between the company and the state of Texas. Governor Abbott expressed his appreciation for the company's investment in Texas and its partnership with the Irving Economic Development Corporation, which helped bring OKI Data Americas, Inc. headquarters to Irving, Texas in 2016.

Governor Greg Abbott today met with executives from the Central Japan Railway Company (CJRC), including CJRC Chairman Emeritus Kasai, in Nagoya, Japan. The Governor also attended presentations by CJRC regarding Japan's bullet train system. The Governor ended his time at CJRC by departing Nagoya via the inaugural bullet train ride from Nagoya station.

Governor Greg Abbott today toured Toyota Motor Corporation's Kaikin and Motomachi assembly plants in Toyota, Japan. Following the assembly plant tours, Governor Abbott met with Toyota President Akio Toyoda. During this meeting, the Governor thanked Mr. Toyoda for welcoming him to Toyota City, discussed strategies to further expand the company's footprint in the Lone Star State, and received an update on Toyota Motor North America, Inc., headquartered in Plano, Texas.
